PCOS Protein Bars
Resist was built around a simple idea: a snack should not work against you. For anyone eating with PCOS in mind, that usually comes down to fiber, protein and how much sugar rides along with them.
Why the snack category is hard
Most convenient snacks are built on refined carbohydrate with very little fiber or protein to slow it down. That is fine occasionally and frustrating when it is the only option in the airport, the office drawer or the school pickup line.
What to look for on the label
Prioritize fiber and protein per serving, then check total sugar rather than added sugar alone. Be skeptical of bars that hit a low sugar number using maltitol or erythritol, which frequently cause bloating.
How Resist bars are built
14g of prebiotic fiber from tapioca fiber, chia and green banana flour. 12g to 13g of pea protein and nuts. 1g to 2g total sugar, sweetened with monk fruit. No sugar alcohols, no artificial sweeteners, no soy, no gluten.
A note on claims
Resist bars are food, not medicine. Nothing here is medical advice. If you are managing a health condition, talk with your healthcare provider about what fits your plan.
