Hormone Health is a Man's Issue

Should men care about their hormone health? Great question. Here's a story to answer it.

One time I told a man that Resist Bars are designed to support hormone health.

He said, “Oh, I guess they’re just for women.”

“Why would they be just for women,” I asked, already knowing his answer.

“Well, they support hormone health.”

I smiled, knowingly. “What do you think testosterone is?”

BOOM.

Yes, men should care about their hormone health! And testosterone isn't the only hormone men should take care of.

Okay, fill me in, what are hormones?

People of any gender have very important hormones outside of their sex-hormones — insulin, cortisol, thyroid hormones, ghrelin (hunger), and more — that can make a huge difference in their overall health, mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Basically, hormones are your body's chemical messengers that play a huge role in your appetite, metabolism, weight, mood, and more.

Most of the time, your endocrine glands — including the thyroid, adrenal glands, pancreas, testes and ovaries (for men and women, respectfully) — produce the right amount of each hormone.

But hormonal imbalances like PCOS, endometriosis, hyper- and hypothyroidism, and more have become increasingly common. Also some hormones decrease with age.

How can men take care of their hormone health naturally?

Well… the same way women do!

And we wrote an entire article about it HERE.
